Extra thin bristles

To remove bacteria hidden in periodontal pockets (the cause of periodontal disease) with a toothbrush, the tips of the bristles must be able to get into tight pockets. With the Panasonic extra fine toothbrush the tips of the bristles, of about 0.02 mm in diameter, are designed to reach only three mm in the periodontal pockets.

The toothbrush vibrates at a rotational speed of approximately 31,000 revolutions per minute for precise movement at high speed. High-speed vibrations effectively remove plaque from the periodontal pockets without attacking the teeth and gums.

Extra thin bristles

To remove the bacteria that are hidden in the periodontal grooves and that cause various pathologies with a toothbrush, the tips of the bristles must be able to penetrate deeply. With the Panasonic ultrafine toothbrush, the tips of the bristles, with a diameter of about 0.02 mm, are designed to go deep into the periodontal furrows of as much as 3 mm.
